Summary

Watch the sunset and spot whales from your private balcony in this beautifully updated 1-bed, 1-bath condo. On the top floor with elevator access, it offers ocean views you won't get on lower levels. Enjoy Maui Vista's 3 pools and 6 tennis courts, steps from Charley Young Beach and 3 blocks from shops and dining. Sleeps 4 (king bed + queen sofa sleeper). Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, a wagon, and tennis rackets all provided.

The Space

Perched on the top floor, the large, open living area frames the ocean view that makes this unit special — and the building elevator means you enjoy that height without ever climbing stairs. The bedroom offers a king bed, its own dedicated air-conditioning unit, and light-blocking drapes for deep, easy rest, while the living room adds a queen-size sofa bed for extra guests. A newer kitchen with updated appliances makes cooking a pleasure, the dining table seats four with room for two more at the kitchen peninsula, and a brand-new stackable washer and dryer make longer stays effortless.

Guest Access

Entire apartment, as well as amenity in the complex including 3 pools, 6 tennis courts and bbq.

The Neighborhood

Maui Vista sits in the heart of Kihei on South Kihei Road, just across the street from Kamaole Beach I — one of the south shore's most beloved stretches of golden sand. Step out the door, cross the road, and you're on the beach for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or simply soaking up the sun on one of the sunniest coastlines in all of Hawaii. At the beach's north end sits Charley Young Beach, a quieter, locals-favorite cove tucked against the rocks.

This is classic South Maui: warm, dry, and golden nearly year-round, with easy days that drift from morning snorkel sessions to sunset strolls. Wander a little farther down South Kihei Road and you'll reach Kamaole Beach II and III, all within an easy walk. In winter, humpback whales put on a show just offshore — often close enough to watch right from the sand.

The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, with beachfront restaurants, food trucks, shave ice, coffee shops, farmers markets, and easygoing happy hours all close by. It's genuine Maui beach-town living with everything you need moments away.

Getting Around

The neighbourhood is wonderfully walkable — the beach, parks, restaurants, and shops all line South Kihei Road within an easy stroll or bike ride, and there's on-site parking if you bring a car. To truly explore the island, we recommend renting one: Maui's most memorable adventures — the Road to Hana, Iao Valley, Lahaina, and Upcountry — are day trips best enjoyed on your own schedule. And for an unforgettable evening, the drive up Haleakala for sunset is one you can do any time, no reservation required.

For getting around without a car, the Maui Bus public transit system stops nearby with routes to the main hubs in Kahului and Maalaea (hours and stops are limited). Rideshare and taxis are handy for quick trips, and Kahului Airport is about a 25–30 minute drive away.

Good to Know

As guests of Maui Vista, you'll have full access to the resort's standout amenities — 3 swimming pools and 6 tennis courts spread across nearly nine acres of tropical grounds, a big part of what sets this complex apart from others in Kihei. To make your beach days effortless, we also provide a full kit of gear: beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, a wagon, and tennis rackets — just grab and go. And with the unit on the top floor served by an elevator, you get the best views in the building with none of the stairs.
